Founding and early vision
Oasis Super Fruits Orgânicas Ltda., better known as Oasis Fruits, was founded by visionary entrepreneurs Renato and Jordanio, who shared a passion for sustainable agriculture and high-quality, organic fruit products. Drawing from their backgrounds in farming and food processing, they established the company in Brazil with a clear mission: to revolutionize the production of organic acerola cherry and açaí berry products through a fully integrated, farm-to-table model. From the outset, Renato and Jordanio envisioned a business that not only delivered exceptional quality but also prioritized environmental stewardship, ethical practices, and community support. The company's name, evoking an "oasis" of freshness and purity in the fruit industry, reflected their commitment to creating a sustainable haven amid growing concerns about industrial food production.
Early operations
In the early days, Oasis Fruits began operations on its own dedicated farm, focusing exclusively on organic acerola cherries and açaí berries, nutrient-rich superfruits native to tropical regions. By owning and managing the cultivation process, the founders ensured complete control over growing conditions, eschewing synthetic pesticides and fertilizers in favor of eco-friendly methods. This hands-on approach laid the foundation for what would become the company's hallmark: vertical integration from seed to shelf.
